The Library collections include both print and digital materials to support learning and research in the areas of Business & Finance, Science, Engineering & Technology, and the Social Sciences and Humanities.
POLICY: The Corporate Patron Library Card provides borrowing privileges, interlibrary loan services and assistance from expert subject specialists with literature searches to any designated employee of the company during the annual subscription. Services are offered on a cost-recovery basis.
LIBRARY CARDS are available to any corporation or organization for an annual fee of $200. A library card allows borrowing privileges from the UMass Lowell Libraries of up to five books for a period of 28 days with one renewal. Extended renewal is possible if the book is not on a waiting list.
INTERLIBRARY LOAN
Our membership in the BLC and OCLC provide access to monographic and journal literature available from libraries throughout the world. We guarantee timely delivery of information, in some cases directly to the desk-top. The cost of borrowing books or journal articles from another library is $10 per transaction plus any fees incurred to obtain the item.
Copying of library materials is available in-house @ $0.15 per page or through our copying service @ $25 per transaction or article. The Library adheres to the copyright law.
